| Sam Law is 17 years old and lives in Ballymena. He started playing the piano from the age of six and has since achieved three piano diplomas - ATCL, LLCM and Fellowship of the London College Of Music (FLCM). |

| He studies with Dr. John O’Conor and Prof. Reamonn Keary at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. He has participated in a number of competitions, winning the Northern Ireland Young Musician of the Year in 2006 and the Young Instrumentalist Award at the Ballymena Music Festival in 2007. The same year he won the Segal Cup at the RIAM Festival and the Dorothy Stokes and Patricia Read Cup in Feis Ceoil. This year, Sam won the Hamilton Harty Cup and Morris Grant bursary and was a piano finalist in the televised BBC Young Musician of the Year in Cardiff where he also won the Walter Todds bursary for the most promising talent.

| He has given solo recitals in various concerts and venues in Northern Ireland and in Dublin. He has also taken part in Master Classes with Barry Douglas, Pavel Nersessian, Douglas Humpherys, Peter Donohoe and Pascal Rogé. His recital at the Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queens 2008 was broadcast on Radio Ulster.
