Lukasz Trepczynski
Poland
Born on 21st of April 1985. He is a fifth year student at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice Prof. Andrzej Jasinski`s piano class. A laureate of several International and national piano competitions.
 
4th prize at the Nationa Piano Competition EPTA in Cracow, 2000, 2nd prize at the Wadyslaw Kendra`s Piano Competition in Lodz, 2002; 5th prize at the Nationa Chopin Piano Competition for the Candidates for the 15thInternationa Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, 2005; 2nd prize at the National Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, 2006; semi finalist and special prize for the best polish participant in 7th International l. J. Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz, 2007 2nd prize at the Yamaha Piano Competition ( Yamaha M usic Foundation of Europe, Scholarship Gdansk 2008); 2nd prize at the 7th international Chopin Piano Competition in Marianske Lazne ( Czech Republic) 2008. He received a scholarship from t he Jolanta and Aleksander Kwasniewski Assistance Fund for Young Talents, another under the Academy of Philantrophy Development also from t he National Fund f or Children, the Fund for Cultures initiatives in Radomsko from t he Minister of Culture. He gave concerts in many cities of Poland, Germany, Russia, ltaly, Ukraine and others. He participated in master classes : John O `Conor, Jacques Rouvier, Lee Kum Sing, Vladimir Krainev, Daejin K im and Krystian Z imerman.
