Masataka Goto Japan Masataka Goto began playing the piano at the age of four and is currently a student at Showa Graduate School of Music and Piano Art Academy. He is studying under Fumiko Eguchi.

He has won numerous prizes at competitions including the First Prize at 2005 Ennio Porrino International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Seventh International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen, Grand-Prix at the Grand Finals of the national competition in Japan, and the Fourh Prize at the Epinal International Piano Competition.

He performs extensively throughout Japan and abroad including Australia, Italy, France, U.K., and U.S.A. He also has many experiences performing chamber music and concertos with orchestras including Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and Tokyo New City Orchestra.
