Mu Ye Wu

Mu-Ye Wu was born in Peking in 1985 to a family of musicians. He began studying piano at the age of five in the Peking Conservatorie. While still very young he took 1st prize in the Hong Kong Piano Competition in 1994 and at the age of 12 he was acclaimed as “best young Chinese musician”.
 
In 2001 he entered the class of Jacques Rouvier in the Paris Conservatoire and in 2003 he won third prize in the Busoni International Piano Competition followed in 2004 by fourth prize in Long-Thibaud in International Piano Competition. The following year he won numerous prizes at the “Piano Campus” at Pontoise.
He has given numerous recitals all over France and has also played in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
