Olga Kozlova
Russia
Olga Kozlova was born in 1986 in the city of Penza (Russia). She began her piano lessons at the age of 5 and in 1994 was admitted at Moscow Special Gnesin`s School of Music. After graduating in 2004 (with teacher Natalia Zdobnova) Olga entered Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatoire where she is studying now on the 5th course with Professor Vera Gornostaeva.
 
Olga is a laureate of many international competitions. She is a semi-finalist of 15th International Chopin competition in Warsaw (2005). Among her prizes are 2nd prizes of 50th International competition “Premio Jaén” in Spain (2008), Ricard Vines International piano competition in Lleida, Spain (2008), International Competition “Valsesia - Musica 2008” in Varallo, Italy and 4th Prize of 3rd International piano competition “Ciudad de Panama” in Panama-City (2008). She has a Diploma of XIII International Tchaikovsky competition in Moscow (2007) and she is a winner of 5th Franz Liszt International piano competition in Weimar, Germany (2006). Together with her partner Olga won Grand Prix of X International Maria Yudina competition in section Piano Duo (Saint-Petersburg, 2008). Olga also has some special awards, e.g. the Award for the best performance of compulsory piece in Jaén and award from Deutsche Schubert-Gesellschaft for the best interpretation of Schubert`s work in Weimar.
Olga performed in prestigious halls in Moscow, played recitals in many Russian cities (Moscow, Samara, Vladimir, Astrakhan, Syktyvkar, Saratov, Kostroma, Novgorod, Yakutsk), in Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, France, Spain and Switzerland. Now Olga performs with the chamber and symphony orchestras in Russia (with the Chamber Orchestra “Gnesin Virtuosi” under Mikhail Khokhlov; with the Symphony Orchestra of the city of Nizhny Novgorod under Alexander Skulsky; with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Samara state Philharmonic under Mikhail Scherbakov) and with Jena Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany) under Nicholas Milton. She also performs as a chamber musician.
Olga made a record of Liszt`s Sonata h-moll with AVI-music. Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and Deutschland-Radiokultur broadcast her recital (Dresden, January 2008) and some other records (incl. concert with Jena Philharmonic Orchestra in November 2007).
