Gerhard Vielhaber Germany Gerhard Vielhaber was born in Attendorn, Germany in 1982 and began to play the piano when he was six years old. Beginning in 1994, he took private lessons from Prof.Kämmerling, continuing studies with him in Hanover in 2002. After obtaining his performance degree in 2006, he began studying with Prof. Rouvier at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Vielhaber won First Prize at Czech Radio’s International Competition for Young Musicians—Concertino Praga 1997 and in 2005 he received a scholarship from the German Music Competition.
